Welcome to Mtell
Mtell delivers affordable, modular, managed services to all sizes of enterprises without the big system cost or complexities. Designed and delivered by experienced industry recognised professionals, mtell enables any business to cut its IT expenditure dramatically, recover from IT hazards within minutes and scale to any capacity across any technology, without additional management, overhead, or additional staff.
Mtell was originally founded to provide an alternative to sourcing mobile handsets and cheaper mobile minutes to corporate communities. During 2007 mtell decided that it wanted to enter the Professional Services market to provide a diversification from the mobile reseller operation and has developed a number of solutions around strategic resourcing, project management and network consulting and to provide an independent response to the requirements of a number of personal contacts that didn't want to engage one of the big 5 consultancies or major IT outsourcers who they believed were primarily trying to sell them product and services rather than taking into consideration the needs of their organization as primary deliverable. February 2008 saw mtell contract their first professional service customer, a unit trust management plc.
In addition to the Professional Service solutions mtell is currently developing a Managed Services portfolio with an emphasis on VOIP and Fixed Mobile Convergence (FMC). These developing services will be aimed at helping larger corporations to optimise their IT and Telecom's spend by providing world class outsourcing facilities, and also providing cost effective services for the SME market who find it difficult to justify incremental spend to benefit from the new functionality within VOIP and FMC.
Mtell does, close the IT circle by providing managed software services. This has been developed based on the experience that Vic and I have had in delivering major software change for organisations such as Alcatel, The West Midlands Networking Company and Cablecom.
Mtell is part of the Maxim Group of Companies which include Maxim Finance and Maxim Securities. The group turnover was £8m in 2007, so we are a healthy group of companies.
